Chrome OS Review

Google Chrome OS is a web based operating system that will probably be the future of cloud computing. The search giant's OS is sold on "chrome devices" which comprises of the Chromebook and the "Chromebox". I have put the Chromebook through its paces and here is the final verdict of what I think Chrome OS is. The main points of discussion are the hardware and software. The hardware I own is the Samsung Series 5 3G chromebook. It is really what it has cracked up to be. Its nice processing power and its wonderful specs really give it a good reputation. Samsung has done an outstanding job at creating this fine piece of delicate hardware. Yet the hardware owes it to Google's amazing product: "Chrome OS". Google Chrome OS is one of Google's crown jewels and it has earned its way up from 2009 when the OS was released. The user interface and the fast boot time contribute to its show stopping performance and credibility. What makes this OS so good is the security and stability at the core of this powerful product. Chrome OS really owes it to the Linux kernel for the speed of the OS, without it Chrome OS wouldn't be what it is today. In conclusion, Chrome OS is a really good product and will take the market by storm. Yet Google still has a long way to go before this really is what it promises to be. I am proud of Google's hard work and dedication to this wonderful product and I can't wait to see what it becomes. Chrome OS is the future of the web as we know it, in fact it is nothing but the web.
